HAIRPLAY.LA was created around that memory.
This is a place for adults who want to step away from the pace of Los Angeles and enjoy a private, personalized sensory experience without the pressure to talk, entertain or be productive.

I have always loved the rituals that make us feel cared for. Yet even during traditional self-care appointments, I sometimes found myself wishing for something simpler: someone gently playing with my hair, soft scratching, quiet and a little time where nothing was expected of me.
That feeling became HAIRPLAY.LA.
I created this private experience for anyone who misses the familiar comfort of hair play and wants a quiet place to pause. Every appointment is personal, consent-led and shaped around what feels comfortable to you.
